During my role as a collections horticulturist at RBG, Kew the Head of Glasshouses and Training invited me to design and plant up a summer succulents display as a prominent feature at the end of the Great Broad Walk next to the Orangery. The succulents were only outside for five months, during the summer, before they were lifted and returned to the Tropical Nursery, behind the scenes.
