Garden & Planting Design

The clients of this project have a beautiful period townhouse, but the garden was neglected during renovation work to the property. The brief requested new planting, a dining area that would look out onto the garden and the re-instatement of their lion’s head water-feature.
I designed a circular paved seating area, to draw the eye around the garden. Planting with a range of heights and mixture of pots created intimacy and added interest to a small courtyard. I mirrored the property’s use of London stock bricks within the garden’s edging and water feature, to make the garden look as if it had always been part of the property.
